How is your personal data treated when doing business with Leasing?
In providing our services we have applied strict rules to protect your personal data to the highest level. By applying Law no. 06/L-082 on Protection of Personal Data and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we continue to protect and use your personal data with an additional level of security and strict privacy rules, along with a very transparent data processing procedure.
FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS TO THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
Law no. 06/L-082 on Protection of Personal Data defines the rights, responsibilities, principles related to personal data protection and privacy of the individual. This Law defines the responsibilities of the institution responsible for monitoring the legitimacy of data processing and access to public documents.
This Law is in accordance with the GDPR Regulation 2016/679 (EU) of the European Parliament and of the Council, dated 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) refers to the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and the free movement of this data, aiming the highest level of protection of the rights and freedoms of natural persons regarding the processing and movement of this data. The regulation is applicable in all countries of the European Union.
What data is processed and what sources does it come from?
We process the personal data we receive from you in order to provide the required banking services. In addition, we process data that we have obtained in a legitimate way and from sources that are publicly available (e.g. business register, association register, land register or media) or that are legitimately provided by other companies related to the bank.
Personal data processed and collected includes:
- personal details and contact information (e.g. name, address, date and place of birth, nationality, etc.)
- identification information and documents (such as sample signature, ID information).
- socio-demographic data and employment data
- information on selected communication channels with RLKO, including marketing
- data on your business relationship as a RLKO customer
Your consent to the Processing and Use of Personal Data
By signing the consent to the processing and use of the data, you personally decide whether you wish to accept that your personal data be used for the purpose of specially created individualized offers, for obtaining information on the latest campaigns and the most favourable offers. You can sign the consent statement at any RBKO branch, and in case you change your mind later, you can easily withdraw your consent.
